Lowrie MacLean was our agent for our San Francisco first time home purchase and we highly recommend her as a knowledgeable agent with a warm and positive personality. Lowrie was also my mother-in-law’s agent, which was how we originally met her. It was an easy decision to ask her to assist us when we were ready to enter the real estate market since my mother-in-law’s experience has been so positive and fruitful. (She now has a great condo in SF.) Our whole experience was equally positive as Lowrie listened to our needs and was always very responsive and professional. From the viewing of properties and writing of offers, to the contract negotiations, she offered guidance without pressure. She continuously followed up with the seller’s agents and kept us informed about all the details. We originally bid on a short sale condo in which she explained risks and benefits of such a purchase. When the bank came back asking for more money, we decided to walk away and then found a TIC that we liked better. She was able to change gears quickly and helped us through the TIC process, including explaining TIC risks/benefits and navigating us through the tricky TIC agreement negotiations. There were also some personal loans to sort through. At the end, she told us that ours was one of the most complicated deals she had dealt with yet this was not apparent to us while we were going through the process as her patience was always abundant. Her strong relationships and good contacts with all the many players (seller’s agents, mortgage brokers, attorneys, contractors, etc.) show that she has the experience needed to purchase real estate successfully. We would definitely use her again.
